Saxman Crispin Cioe at Woofgang a-Go-Go

Saxman Crispin Cioe is scheduled to perform with Band Central at Park City Music Hall on June 2, 2022 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The event is called Woofgang a-Go-Go and takes place between 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM EST. All proceeds benefit Team Woofgang & Co to provide vocational skills training to adults with a wide range of disabilities.

About Crispin Cioe

Crispin is a renowned saxist, music director, bandleader, composer, and songwriter who has played and recorded with James Brown (sax solo on “Living in America”), the Rolling Stones, Solomon Burke, Darlene Love, Tom Waits, Ray Charles, Cameo, Robert Palmer, Bronski Beat, and the Ohio Players, among others.

Crispin Cioe is Co-Founder of the Uptown Horns

Additionally, saxman Crispin Cioe is an original member of the legendary Uptown Horns, the NYC-based quartet founded in 1980 with Arno Hecht, Bob Funk and Larry Etkin. Crispin has played the saxophone on more than 300 albums. Crispin has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in New York City. In addition, in June, 2022, all 4 Uptown Horns have been inducted individually into the New England Music Hall of Fame. Crispin has been featured in Westport Rocks! The Greatest Stories Ever Told, which counts him among Connecticut’s most gifted musicians.
