Adam is a longtime friend and a uniquely gifted musician who, with his brother Charlie, helped me at key moments throughout the entire span of my artistic endeavors here in Gotham. He embodies the spirit of rock and roll past and present like no one else I’ve ever known, an encyclopedia of everything great about the NYC/East Coast rock scene for the past 3 decades. He’s also a comic force of nature, and as co-creator (with Chris Phillips, Charlie Roth, Jimmy Accardi, et al, and participants that included the Uptown Horns) of the super-hilarious “Blue Light Club” at Under Acme in the late ’80s, provided a spawning ground for several soon-to-be famous comedians.
